The Golden Globes were back with all the glitz and glamour after last years festivities were cancelled due to the writers guild strike. The film Slumdog Millionaire, the NBC series 30 Rock and the HBO mini-series John Adams were the big winners earning three globes a piece while Kate Winslet won two herself for Best Actress in a Drama for her work in Revolutionary Road and Best supporting Actress for The Reader.
