Hello Birdie


Movieweb.com is reporting that Adam Shankman, who is best known for directing such films as "Hairspray"& "Bedtime Stories" and also for being a judge on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" is gearing up to direct/produce a new version of the classic musical "Bye Bye Birdie". "Bye Bye Birdie" is a musical loosely based on Elvis Presley. "Bye Bye Birdie" first debuted on Broadway in 1958. It was last seen in movie theaters in 1963 starring Dick Van Dyke and Ann Margret as well as a made for television version in 1995 starring Jason Alexander.
