Hairspary, Young Frankenstein and Grease end Broadway run

Today marked the end of three Broadway shows. Former best Musical TONY award winner Hairspray has played over 2000 performances in the Neil Simon Theatre. Young Frankenstein based on the film of the same name was the first Broadway show I had the pleasure of seeing. It ends its run having played 484 performances at the Hilton Theatre in the heart of Times Square. A national tour is in the works. After being the first Broadway show to have its two leads cast through a reality-tv show, the revival of Grease ended today as well after 554 performances.
