Curtain closes on Gypsy and Spamalot




Today marked the final performance of the broadway revival of Gypsy. It will have played 332 performances at the St. James Theater after moving to Broadway from The Encores! Summer Stars production in july of '07. Patti LuPone, Boyd Gaines and Laura Benanti all received Tonys for there performances.

Monty Python's Spamalot, the 2005 Tony award winner for Best Musical also ends its highly succesful run today. Spamalot has played over 1500 performances and been seen by over 2 million people at Broadway's Shubert Theater.
